What we do to ensure app security

Activity Checks

Green commuter performs more than 15 checks on each activity, to ensure it is valid.

Account Flags & Blocking

Green Commuter:

• Flags user accounts with Strava if we feel that are not genuine

• Flag Green Commuter accounts automatically if suspicious behaviour detected

• Extend the 24 hour period where rewards claim can be made to accounts acting suspiciously

• Automatically block devices that access multiple accounts

3 strikes and an account is blocked - this is our moto! If an account receives 3 flags for definitive malicious behaviour then the account is blocked.

If an account performs suspicious behaviour the time between when rewards claims are possible is extended.

App Protection

We also protect the app by having overall spend limits

• There is a daily rewards limit for the app - if reached then no more rewards will be paid. This resets as midnight UTC

• There is an hourly rewards limit for the app - if reached then no more rewards will be paid for that hour
