Strava Privacy

Your privacy is paramount but we need certain settings

Activity Visibility

When you save an activity in Strava can choose who can see that activity:

Green Commuter will be able to reward your Private activities - so this choice is yours to make. If you don't want the Strava community to see your activities select Only You option.

Hidden Details

When you save an activity in Strava you can choose to hide some details:

For Green Commuter to process your activity your Start Time must not be hidden. Without that setting we do not know which day the activity was on.

Start/End Point Hiding

Within your Strava profile Map Visibility settings, you can choose to remove your start and end points of your activities up to a certain distance. This is really only needed if you make your activities public when saving them, as it allows you to hide your home location for example.

It is recommended to not set this too high - as for an example a 1km walk with 200m hiding will actually only be rewarded for 600m.
