What data do we collect from Strava but do not store?

Green Commuter collects but does not store, the following activity data from Strava:

• Polyline - the recorded GPS coordinates of the activity

How do we store your data?

Green Commuter stores all data in a secure database, that can only be accessed using a signed certificate from the user's VeWorld wallet.

Do we share any data?

None of your data is shared or used for marketing purposes. Data might be used for analytical purposes but will be obfuscated and anonymised.

What data is saved to VeChain blockchain?

A proof of a reward activity is saved to the VeChain blockchain. This proof contains the activity id, together with a boundry circle of the activity location. This way we are not sharing your exact location, but only a boundry circle. A 10% margin is added to the boundry circle to further protect your privacy.
